There are plenty of other songs or artists that has associated with eco-friendly causes. Jackson Browne, for example, owns a solar home. Cake records music at a solar-powered studio. John Denver was one of the most vocal artists on environmental protection. One of his most pronounced songs about the green movement was "Earth Day Every Day (Celebrate)."

Group discussions about the environment in another way to help spread the word about sustainability. Recycling is one of the most basic ways to enter help play a role in keeping the earth clean. Plastic and glass bottles, along with tin cans are widely recycled. If you can't get a group together in person, join environmental discussion groups on social media.

In 2017 many major cities are still powered by coal plants. Coal is one of the dirtiest forms of energy production, but luckily it's on the decline. Many coal workers suffer from lung cancer. Kentucky, a major coal mining state, also has the highest cancer rate, partly due to tobacco smoke. One solution involves converting former coal mines into solar farms. Another solution to pollution is to clean the air with indoor plants.
