Will Trump Be Impeached By the End of 2017?

The following residents of Pyramid Island were asked on December 4, 2017 if they thought President Trump would be impeached by the end of the year. Use this page as a guide to find out which characters gave the most accurate answers.

CHESTER COMMONFOLK: I'm afraid that Mr. Trump will be impeached and removed from office by the end of the year. The courts are going to determine the election was a fraud and make Hillary Clinton the winner by default. At that point government will come back to order. I think the reason why they waited until the end of the year to get rid of Trump was so that he could pass his tax plan first.

VENUS DOLOFONOS: I work in the PR industry, so I can tell you a lot about how media propaganda works. The media has learned how to market Trump as the scapegoat for every awful thing imaginable. Don't get me wrong, I think Trump has hurt his own image with almost every tweet. I could never vote for someone that egotistical. But anyone who thinks the Republican House of Representatives is going to impeach their own party leader doesn't know much about how politics really works.

EVAN SPRINGER SATANICA: Yes, Trump will be impeached if not in 2017, then in 2018. I work for the deep state division of the corp/govt. From the intelligence reports I've gathered I can tell you that without a doubt I have proof the Russians hacked the election. It's evidence that has been reviewed by top authorities who unanimously agree the Russians were the reason Trump beat Clinton. If the Russians didn't do it, then who did? I can't tell you how I know all this stuff, but if you can't trust your own government, who can you trust?

AGENT CROWSLEY: I do investigative work for the deep state. When you've got 17 intelligence agencies all agreeing on something, it's hard to dispute it. The Russians meddled with the election, which is well-documented, not only by agency reports, but the New York Times, the Washington Post and so many other major media outlets. Obviously it's a complex investigation that has already led to some major indictments. I don't think Trump will be impeached by the end of the year, but anything can happen next year after more dominoes start to fall.

CLUSTER OF EYEBALLS: Trump will not be impeached in 2017 or 2018. If Democrats win back the House in 2018 it provides opportunity for impeachment, but it still takes the Senate to remove him from office. So far, despite all the hysteria surrounding Trump, no impeachable offenses have been clearly presented by the government. Trump has obviously surrounded himself with dishonest people, such as Flynn, who plead guilty to lying to the FBI. But Flynn's meeting with the Russian ambassador took place after the election, so it's hard to see that as part of the same case that Trump colluded with the Russians to rig the election.
